  1. Hey Marshall love the set reviews! – wondering why there isnt a message with the time stamps for what colors for this set review? I can’t usually do the whole podcast in one sitting, so knowing when the colors change is really helpful for me!

thanks for hearing my feedback, and look forward to next weeks show.

  2. Infinite Obliteration might not be good, but it does let you “search” things, so you will at least know what they have in their hand, and what else is in their deck. And that info could be very helpful. Once.

  3. I will be providing another spreadsheet for this set review just as I did for the Commons/Uncommons.

Please keep in mind that it’s supposed to be used as a quick review for drafts and Marshall/LSV’s analysis is far more valuable than what I am offering.

If you wish to receive it please e-mail me and I will make sure you get it as soon as I finish.

  4. A neat little interaction that you guys missed with tragic arrogance is making your opponent sac down to their creature that has a pacifism stuck to it, of which there are several in the set. That turns this card into a 5-mana mono – colored Duneblast.

    • Even better if it’s an artifact creature – so you can choose the creature itself, the artifact itself and the (pacifying) enchantment as the non-sacrificed cards. You, of course, get to keep three useful permanents while they’re now stuck with none.

      • Sadly that won’t work. You control the Pacifism that’s on the opponent’s creature, so it can’t be chosen as one of the enchantments they can keep. And you have to choose it as the enchantment you keep if you want that creature to stay pacified.

  5. Great commentary guys! New listener here and I will be returning. Keep up the great work and I look forward to future podcasts.

  6. Having listened to the black card reviews while looking at a list from the Gatherer, I see that you missed Nightmare. And now I know why; for some reason Magiccards.info doesn’t list Nightmare as part of Origins, while the Gatherer does. (Of course, Gatherer incorrectly brings up Revenant and Sengir Vampire as rares in my search, so I guess everyone’s SQL is screwed up)

Anyway, please use a complete list if you’re going to claim you’re reviewing every single card! Or, actually, regardless if you’re claiming that. I just want to hear you two’s opinions on everything; it’s super useful and entertaining as well.
