Regarding Imminent Doom: This was also my promo card at my 2nd prerelease. I played it out of sheer curiosity, as I thought it would probably be horrible as well, but wanted to see what it could do. In a Red/White deck with a couple cartouches it actually put in some solid work for me, even soundly winning a couple of matches for me. It’s been good in casual matches since then as well. While it’s definitely difficult to get off the ground and might require you to play in a way that’s not necessarily optimal for an aggro deck that would have 1-drops in it, it doesn’t take too terribly much to build around it and make it not a totally dead card. I think the highest I chained it to was 6.
In the first game of my first HOU Draft last night, my opponent dropped it on turn 3. ‘Ha!’ I thought. ‘My opponent is playing that terrible card!’. He then proceeded to play a Cartouche of Solidariuty killing my x/1, followed by a two-drop, a 3-drop and a 4-drop, killing solid creatures on my side of the board each time and wrecking my perfect RG aggro start.
He then failed to hit a 5-drop for the remainder of the game, and I destroyed him 2-0. Lesson learned: even when at it’s absolute best, Imminent Doom still failed to do enough to win a game. It didhave me sweating it, though 🙂

This player really needs a way to speed up the audio. Listening to you guys at 1:1 is SO slow.
Is there a reason you can’t just put this up on youtube as a private video and make it public when it’s supposed to go live? Youtube lets me listen at 1.25:1 or 1.5:1 which are much closer to what I’d like to listen at.
@BK really bro?
Love Marshall making punning for the full roll reversal.
I think Reason is in the C range just for being “low opportunity cost sort-of-draw-1” plus “makes a lot more opening hands keepable”. At least, that’s what it did for me at prerelease.
(Believe was great in my deck … because I had a Nissa and a Sifter Wurm, ahem.)
The highest-impact target for Nimble Obstructionist’s cycling ability is Eternalize.
